does having your url start with "ftp" break a few things?

  I have a private blog with a url that starts with ftp. The blog doesn’t show up on my dashboard [I double checked that it is indeed visible already] and if I type in the url without http:// first the browser ends up tries to load ftp://%5Bmy wordpress url] instead of redirecting to http://%5Bmy wordpress url].

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no FTP access to WordPress.com hosted blogs like http://pixypi.wordpress.com/ and you cannot upload anything into that blog via FTP. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/

  hehe Yeah, good thing I’m not looking to have ftp access to wordpress.com blogs :)
