Does home slideshow on Modularity Lite work with less than 5 current posts?

  My homepage slideshow on Modularity Lite theme does not work, even after I tried posting several images 950×425, including a gif.

  The number of slideshow images will match the number of blog posts showing on your home page. You can change that number from your WordPress.com dashboard at Settings → Reading. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/modularity-lite/
