Does Imbalance 2 not allow the more tag to show?

I am using Imbalance 2, and although the more tag is functioning properly (my text breaks in the right place), the word “more” doesn’t actually show up at the end of the excerpt on my home page. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Howdy,
Imbalance 2 displays the beginning of each post on the main page, so you’ll need to manually enter a custom excerpt on the Edit Post screen. (This is different than the more tag.)
If you don’t see the Excerpt module on the Add New/Edit Post screen, you can enable it from Screen Options in the top right.

Even with a custom excerpt Imbalance2 does not have an automatic link to “read more”
This is something I just noticed on several themes which can use the custom excerpt feature.
