Does iPad 2 support editing of a WPWebsite, uploading images?

The choose image button on my iPad does not allow me to upload an image onto my WP website. Need to edit the site. I can update text but not upload image because the choose button is not activated.

The website in question is a WEBSITE, built in WORDPRESS. I can upload easily using the WP app for the blogs – its fantastic! But trying in Safari to upload a photo to the website site is a problem. I want to upload from my computer, but the button CHOOSE FILE is murky, not active. What I suspect is that WordPress has not yet facilitated this action yet for iPad. But there may be some other solution I don’t know about. That’s why I ask on this forum.
