Does it cost to transfer a domain I already own?

  Yes you’ll need a WordPress.com Pro plan to use your domain on a site built here. Note you can only transfer a domain if you’ve owned it for at least 60 days where you first purchased it. You can of course connect it to a site here immediately (with a Pro plan).
