does mailpress work for wordpress.com?

  I’m looking into a newsletter management software (i.e. Mailpress, Mailchimp, etc.) and would like to try Mailpress if I can. However, I’m a .com customer (not .org) and can’t figure out if Mailpress is available to me, or if I have to transition to .org. (I’d rather not do so if possible, as I love not dealing with hosting!) Thanks.

  Hey there,

  Those newsletter services aren’t integratable into a WordPress.com site as a plugin. However, you can create your own widget that will link your visitors to your page on one of those websites, allowing them to fill in a contact form there.

  You can also use our contact form to create your newsletter mailing list, then maintain your own database for use with a newsletter management service:
