Does my blog have malware?

When I try to go to my blog (using Google Chrome), I get the following warning:

socksforbands.wordpress.com contains content from [URL removed by staff], a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.
Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you’ve visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it’s possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.
We have already notified [URL removed by staff] that we found malware on the site. For more about the problems found on [URL removed by staff], visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page.

I’ve never seen this before today. Can you shed some light on what’s going on here?

It looks like you may have linked to pearldrummersforum.com on your blog in the past.

From what I can see, Google appears to have found malware associated with this site. It is possible that pearldrummersforum.com was recently hacked or, for a variety of reasons, was distributing malware.

While this doesn’t mean that your blog contains malware, your best bet would be to remove the post that contains the link to this site to keep other visitors to your site from a) seeing this message, and b) potentially clicking on a dangerous link.

Additionally, it is possible that this site is harmless and Google is simply being proactive in its error message. Ultimately, the next steps are up to you and what you feel most comfortable doing. I hope this clarifies things!

It does! I’ve deleted the link (which I had forgotten I even had) and everything cleared up right away. Thank you!
