Does my blog will be private after I cancelled business?

    I purchased business, but I cancelled within 48 hours. They refund me the fee. Before I started the cancellation, I read my blog will be private. It mean’s my visitors won’t see my posts or private means personal without business?

    They refund the fee but the plugins and the url wpcomstaging is still live. I will get back the old domain name, wordpress.com?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi @hfquinzel, it’s private because the downgrade process can be a bit messy. Could you confirm you’d like to downgrade by acknowledging these potential pitfalls?

    • Plugins and third-party themes will be lost and can no longer be used
    • The reverted site may revert to using the old theme
    • We’ll do our best to migrate any content over, but there is some potential for loss, as any custom content created by plugins and themes may not be carried over

    If needed, you can make a backup of the site first. Then respond here and we can help you get downgraded properly. Thanks!

    I’m not sure what means private, because there is a visitor who can reach the blog and see the posts.

    I just would like my old visitors/subscribers still se my blog and my posts after I cancelled business plan. The old url with wordpress it also would be great but enough if somebody visit the blog will see the new posts.

    I switched the private to public and after I checked and the visitors can reach and see the posts.

    I have the old url with wordpress, the blog is public (everyone I give the address can see it) and it’s free – that’s all were important for me, and if I see well, everything works. :)
