Does my blogger blog meet wordpress terms of use?
-
I want to move my blog from blogger to wordpress.
But someone told me it might not meet the terms of use.
I link to my own website, but I don’t run any other ads.
It is healing-how-to.blogspot.com -
You can link to your own website from a WordPress.com blog but you cannot create a non-blog full of posts that all direct to the website. There must be an actual blog. You can create a custom menu and include a custom link in it to your website. Here’s what gets a blog suspended:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/

For importing content see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
For custom menus see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ -
I am not staff but I think your blog would be a tough time with the Terms of Service here

I am not staff but I think your blog would be a tough time with the Terms of Service here
But what does it violate?
-
Let’s start with the fact that WordPress.com supports original content blogs. Then proceed to note that what post is misleading bullshit such as this excerpt:
Before I explain this further, I want to tell you that I know how to Cure Almost Everything. I am now adding new treatments and there will be 396 $4.95 DIY, 52 $150 CDs, 332 $19.95 MP3s, 139 free treatments, and six $5 treatments
Then we could go on with doing plagairism checks but why bother?

It is true fact and it is as plain and clear is anyone can make it. I thought one purpose of a blog is to promote my website. I guess not. I have removed that. So please do your plagairism check.

Your blog will be suspended almost instantly.
But why. No one is telling me why. I took off the prices.
-
Blogs which exist here only to do publicity for a website elsewhere are against the terms of service. Also, claiming to cure everything will get you sued by every cancer patient on the planet, but that’s not a WP.com problem.
-
Well, I see your point. I fixed it up so it doesn’t look so much like advertisement. I also added disclaimer (at bottom because I don’t know how to make separate page with blogger).
Nowhere do we claim we have a cure everything. -

so it doesn’t look so much like advertisement.
You are sounding like a lawyer – the bottom line – you want a big advertisement & drive traffic to your real web site – word smith all you want – I have seen a ton on lawyer wanabe’s have their site suspended doing what you are trying to do – “they are banners not ads” – gone & etc
There are some general words that will allow the staff to zap your site – best advice – stay on blogger – their standards are different than here – or get your own host and install the FREE WordPress.ORG software and away you go
-
Your blog will be suspended on wordpress.com regardless of how many times you tweak it, because the entire point of your WP.com blog is against the terms of service.
