Does Oxygen theme support galleries?

  Hi, I am using the Oxygen theme and I want to add a post with a gallery. I tried using [gallery] and I also clicked settings ->media -> display all your gallery pictures in a cool mosaic, but I can’t make a gallery appear. Does the Oxygen theme support galleries? Can you please give me a step by step on how to put in a gallery?

  Hi, yes I searched the Themes Forum and tried the suggestions there which were 1) media setting and 2) using text mode but I couldn’t get it to work.
  I want to make either a post or a page that has a square or rectangle gallery that when you hover over the picture, the captions come out. And when you click on the picture you are brought to the post that’s originally linked to the picture. The gallery will use pictures in my media library.

  In order to use images that you’ve already uploaded to your Media Library in a Gallery, you will have to modify the Gallery shortcode to use “includes”. See here:

  Otherwise, just upload the images to the Post or Page that you want them to appear in and insert the Gallery directly either from the Gallery tab of the image loader, or by typing the Gallery shortcode directly in the post. This will create the default 3-column, thumbnail grid Gallery.

  If you want to use the mosaic type as default, you can set that up in your Dashboard>Settings>Media>Image Gallery Carousel>Tiled Galleries> Display all your gallery pictures in a cool mosaic Make sure to save your changes.

  You currently cannot do this directly by using the Gallery feature because when you use a Gallery, the image will link only to the image, the Attachment Page or the Image Carousel.
