Does paying premium for a non-custom site cover a later change to a custom name?
-
I’d like to use the discount price for premium when I sign up now so I can use some of the benefits (no ads, privacy) but would like to know whether that will enable me to use the premium status in a few weeks (very likely beyond the two weeks I could have the premium free trial) when I’m ready with a name to change to a custom domain site. Will that work?
-
I finally happened upon the dashboard and realized that the first signups are automatically for the free site, and that I had signed up for .net as I’d intended, and paid the premium fee.
So I used the upgrade, entered my already paid name, criminaljusticeincontext.net, made it my primary site, and used the private registration option as I’d wanted.
I believe this takes care of my two previous inquiries.
I hope you catch this note before troubling to respond to them. Now I’ll see what the information pages tell me and try to figure out how to make the site do what I want it for: posting links and documents and occasionally audio, and perhaps some blogging.
