Does Sela Support Manual Excerpt Feature?

  I’m using the Sela theme but can’t seem to get the manual excerpt to work. I would like to write a short summary of the post to serve as the excerpt, not just showing the first few paragraphs.

  It doesn’t appear to, but you can always use the More Tag for comparable functionality:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/

  Thanks @pmciano, but let me clarify: I would like to write a completely different summary of the post, not just showing the first few paragraphs of the blog post.

  You will need to switch to a theme that supports excerpts.
