Does Tag Has Anything To Do With Traffic In Google

    Hi

    I have been blogging for a while now but my blog content doesn’t show up on Google Search Engine.

    Even when I post a breaking news hours before others my blog won’t still crop up but others who I posted ahead of has theirs coming up on the search engine, I want to know is it becoz I didnt use tag?

    I will be grateful for anyone who will tutor me more on this.

    socialtimesng.com is a self hosted WordPress.org site, not a WordPress.com site. We are only able to assist with WordPress.com sites on these forums, however, I can give you some general advice.

    As your site is self hosted, you have the option of using plugins to enhance SEO. These forums are a great place to get advice for self hosted sites:

    Google is very transparent about its process — it has a guide for SEO best practices here:

    There are lots of factors affecting SEO; using tags alone won’t give you any significant advantage. I’d recommend having a look on the WordPress.org forums for more advice. If you don’t see am existing thread that answers your questions, you can start a new one.
