Does the browse option to upload images still exist?
-
The add an image tool on the edit portion of my blog does not seem to have a way to “browse” the images, as I did on the old version of wordpress. Is the browse option still there and I am missing it? I have no idea how to add an image any other way.

Under “add media” row of buttons at the top of the editor, if you click on the little sort of sun-looking dot at the right end, it takes you to the “add media” window. At the top of the add media window, click on “media library and it will bring up a complete list of all images you have in your uploads area and from there you can insert them into your post.

Thanks so much. I would have never figured that out on my own. It doesn’t seem to be working for me to send it to the post, but when I copied the url to the little add an image link it did work. Thanks for your help. :-)

–>thesacredpath: you seem to know really a lot!!
A similar question, regarding problems with “Add media” window: the window, when it opens over the post page is always too low aligned, ie. the lower 2-3 lines of the window are actually under the end of IE7 limit, so that i cannot choose for example the alignement in pictures.I cannot find a support about this problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks! -

If you are using Firefox, you might try making the type smaller in that box by holding the CTRL key and hitting – (the hyphen key). This should show you all of the contents of the box. It might not be clear, but you should still be able to check off what you want.
Be sure to hit CTRL and + (the plus sign) afterwards to go back to your usual type size!

Oops. Sorry. After I hit Publish I saw you were using IE. Well, maybe that tip can help someone else…

actually, you tip me in the right direction:
in IE you use CTRL and the mouse wheel..
it did work, but i think it is a shortcut solution..
the window should be aligned to the top of the page.but better than before!
thanks MikeCane!PS i read about the avatar and your thread before about gallery (i had several problemas to understand how to use it and i am still experimenting!) – nicely done!
