Does this work with godaddy?

    I’m kind of confused on how WordPress works. If I sign up will it work with my
    Go daddy website??

    Hey Innshow,

    There are two different types of WordPress, .com and .org. In short, WordPress.com is for sites that are being hosted by WordPress and .org is for self-hosted sites through a third-party provider (GoDaddy, Bluehost, Siteground, etc.). You can view more on the differences here.

    If you are currently hosting your website with GoDaddy, then you will need to go with WordPress.org. However, if you only purchased your domain name (separate from web hosting) through GoDaddy, you can use that domain on a site hosted at WordPress.com through domain mapping.
