Does WordPress.com for Google Docs work for non-admin accounts?

  I can authorize the add-on in google docs and post to my site fine when I use my wordpress admin account. But my authors receive this error when they try to authorize the connection between the add-on and wordpress.com –

  Request failed for https://public-api.wordpress.com/rest/v1.1/sites/154508127/post-types/page/taxonomies returned code 404. Truncated server response: {‘error’:’unknown_post_type’,’message’:’Unknown post type’} (use muteHttpExceptions option to examine full response)

  The author accounts are connected via jetpack and everything. I don’t think I’ve missed any steps. Any ideas?
