Does wordpress doesn’t accept .net domain?

    .net email domain is not accepted, but there is an existing account using this domain that was created before. The error is, ‘Please enter valid email address.’

    The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff)/wp-admin/. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hi there,

    Are you trying to add a .net domain to a website hosted with us on WordPress.com? In which case, what is the WordPress.com site, and what is the domain?

    Or are you trying to use an email address for a .net domain for your WordPress.com username account at https://wordpress.com/me/account, in which case, what is the full email address? Our system automatically hides email addresses from public view, so just type it on its own line, and only staff will be able to see it.

    If you’re trying to change the email for a specific site from WP-Admin, then you’re working with the open source WordPress.org software hosted at another hosting provider. In that case, please ask the WordPress.org community for advice at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

    We’re only able to help with sites that are hosted on our servers at WordPress.com in this forum.
