does WordPress.org REST API works on WordPress.com bussiness plan?

    I was wondering whether the REST API for WordPress.org works on wp.com business plans. I tested it out on a website on business plan and it gave me a response.But i want to make sure as i planning to buy one and i need to be able to use the WordPress.org API instead of WordPress.com OAuth Authentication

    Hi there,

    Business plan sites using plugins use the WordPress REST API, yes, but also the WordPress.com API via the site’s Jetpack connection.

    If you don’t install any plugins to the site, you’ll be using the WordPress.com REST API instead.

    For authentication in this case you’d need to create WP-Admin login credentials, as by default WP-Admin access on Business Plan sites is via Jetpack SSO.
