Does WordPress own my content if I am not a premium customer?

  No problem. I would like to know if I own what I write or does WordPress?

  You own your own content no mater what plan you use, WordPress.COM retains no rights to it.

  The confusing part is that you grant WordPress.COM a license to distribute your content around the world, that is needed for someone else to look at your site, the legal language is hard for a non-lawyer to understand –
