Does WordPress Premium include Domain Registration?

  Hi I have a paid upgrade to have my own registered domain.
  Am trialing the WordPress Premium at the moment. If I do opt for Premium would it include the cost of the domain renewal? Or is that still extra.

  Hello there,

  Yes indeed — if you add the Premium upgrade, it will provide a domain name. You can either apply this to your current domain, or you can add a secondary domain to your site at no added cost. If you choose to stay with the current domain, the domain credit that comes with the Premium upgrade will apply to your renewal.

  Hi Robyn
  OK am going to need some help here. Have purchased the upgrade at £85 (wasn’t there an offer price though?)

  But am now not sure how to set my current wordpress registered domain to be the Premium domain name. It is saying it is ‘already mapped to a wordpress blog’.

  So need some help here.

  Hi again!

  Thanks for following up. I see the Premium upgrade that you’ve added to your account. I’ve bundled your existing domain (charlestolman.com) into the upgrade. Technically, when your domain comes up for renewal, you should NOT be charged as it will be seen as a component of your Premium upgrade. The £85 will cover your next domain renewal on July 7th of this year.

  However, if this doesn’t happen because of the discrepancy between the date of domain registration and the addition of your Premium upgrade, please let me know ASAP. I will credit your account for the domain, so you can renew it without having to pay.
