Does wordpress.com have a referral reward program?

  Does wordpress.com offer any incentives for bringing new customers to wordpress.com?

  For example, is there a discount/referral code that I could share with others so they get 20% off the Premium or Business plan, and I would get a 5% kickback for referring them?

  I see other places doing something like this so I was just wondering if wordpress.com has something like this.

  Does anyone think this might be a good idea?

  Should wordpress.com become like every other place with a discount scheme? No I don’t think it’s a good idea. Any place that runs such schemes is charging too much in the first place. Our reality is that the majority of all free blogs registered today will be abandoned in less than a year. And, the upgrade charges here are very reasonable.
