Does wordpress.com manage my domain name?

  I was under the impression that wordpress.com would manage my domain name. For instance, I would send you $20 per year, and the domain name would be updated. The company that managed the domain name before used godaddy.com; which I abhore.

  So, when I set up the website, paid the money I paid, did wordpress.com become the manager of the domain name? Or, does the previous company still manage the name, and wordpress.com have nothing to do withit.

  If you’re referring to fbclakeworth.org, the domain is just mapped here. It’s still registered and managed through your previous registrar.

  On the other hand, tikesbestfriend.com is registered through us.
