Hi! i have a website on a hosting company with wordpress.org and we heave 100ks+ hits every month, but our servers aren’t very good. Were I to migrate to a WordPress.com Blog, would that blog support that kind of traffic? we also have a lot of backend traffic.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi @joao29pimenta,

I don’t think this should be a problem, this goes without saying no service is perfect. But WordPress.com has data centers located in the US and across the world to ensure that sites continue running smoothly in the rare instances there might be outages.

Have a look at this documentation here if you’re curious to know more about performance and availability status.

  • HI there,

There are no limits on bandwidth or traffic your sites can get when they are hosted on WordPress.com. We serve billions of pages every month so you can be assured that your sites will be up and ready to handle heavy traffic.

Your sites will be hosted on the same infrastructure that keeps online known sites like New York Post, VentureBeat, USA Today, and more:
