Does wordpress.com withstands a blog with hundreds os thousands os hits?

  Hi! i have a website on a hosting company with wordpress.org and we heave 100ks+ hits every month, but our servers aren’t very good. Were I to migrate to a WordPress.com Blog, would that blog support that kind of traffic? we also have a lot of backend traffic.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t think this should be a problem, this goes without saying no service is perfect. But WordPress.com has data centers located in the US and across the world to ensure that sites continue running smoothly in the rare instances there might be outages.
