Does WP send emails asking me to verify my email address?

    Hi there, I received an email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) asking me in the name of WP to confirm and verify my email address. Thought that was a bit weired (especially because I received it on one of my email account I don’t use for my blog) and decided to ignore it. However, now that I’ve received a reminder I start to not being so sure about it. Especially the following sentence makes me a bit nervous: “(…) If you don’t take care of it in a timely manner we’ll be required to put any hosted content on hold (…)”
    Would be great if you could help me out with this :)

    Sorry for the confusion! This email is legitimate. It is verifying the domain registration – all you have to do is click on the “Verify your email address” button.
