I wasn’t able to locate this topic in a search. I’m not able to change the fonts in my blog for free. I followed the steps (WP Admin, Appearance, Customize, Fonts) and tried several fonts. I did see the preview, but the changes did not take place. This is the message at the top left of my bar:
” The Adobe Typekit [Tk] fonts are part of thePremium Plan. Purchase to view Typekit fonts on your site or exit the preview.”
Is this a time limited promo, or the Adobe typekit is not part of the Google fonts?
I am using the Adelle theme.

I found the answer to this problem in another thread – see below.
I have updated this thread to “answered” and removed the tag for modlook (thank you timethief)!!
” I was about to ask the same question and glad I did a further search. I was away from my blog due to a death in the family and thought there were some changes while I was gone. I was able to change background images to reflect the different seasons, and wasn’t able to do so today. I thought wordpress.com changed some features while I was away, and now I had to upgrade for a fee.
