domain… .com, .wordpress… Time out?
-
Had fun building our website. Many thanks. Frustrated at the point of publishing to see the .com (lose the “wordpress” text) upgrade which I thought we had have paid for seems to have disappeared from the menu…
Where is the “My Domain” menu all of a sudden?
The only “domain” stuff I see now is in the “Upgrade” menu but it comes at a cost and I don’t really want to pay again…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello yokohamahula,
After you click on “upgrades”, you should see a white bar listed above the plans with several links (Plans, Add a Domain, My Domains, etc).
The My Domains link will take you to a list of your domains.
You can also go directly by clicking here:

Brian, I very much appreciate your swift response.
The problem is… Couple of weeks ago we promised to pay the coin (and indeed a couple of days ago this chunk was debited from our credit card) but having just completed the site (how was it for you?!) we suddenly found the “free” update to .com (= no “wordpress” in the url etc.) was no longer available. Feels a bit harsh! Is there a time limit?

Thanks for following up, Brian.
Answer is “Premium.”
Again, the charges for the .com or .me or map domain options were showing a strikethrough/no charge in the My Domains (?) window while we working on the site.
When I switched from private to “public” having finished with the site — except for the Facebook connection for which functionality I had to go public — the “free” .com domain option has gone — or appears to have gone. I am now being asked to pay 2,200 yen.
We were billed for Premium on June 9. I have the email receipt. (By the way, I am logged in to WordPress now obviously and at the bottom of the page here there is a button suggesting that I get upgraded and “Go Premium.”
Loving WordPress but a bit confused about this…

Just double checked that (!) and yep, logged in with the same user name as has been billed for Premium.

Me again.
All sorted. We were not charged for the domain.
The change in interface threw me. I’m sorry to have bothered you and very much appreciate your kind help.
