Hello, I bought a domain and I took my site down. I had already paid the 18 to register and buy the domain and not it’s gone and it not available what happened? I paid my money for it and never got a refund for it where did it go?

Hello, I bought a domain and I took my site down.
We need details such as:
- The URLof the domain;
- The URL of the underlying .wordpress.com blog;
- The username account that registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and p[urchased the domain mapping upgrade for ii.
Did you apply for a refund? If so, when?

TheAlexanderLopez.com is the domain I had purchased, I did not ask for a refund as it was past the time. I just wanted to take down the site while i figured out what to do next with design and such.

Hi there,
I believe you inadvertently cancelled the domain when you deleted the site.
I can retrieve it for you – however, you must have an active WordPress.com URL to connect the domain to. So, I would suggest creating the WordPress blog of your choice first and then posting in this thread letting me know. I’ll then attach to the blog you created.

I had already paid that 18 dollars when I first signed up, and I never got it back when it deleted. so now what? I have to pay it again?

Ok, so i just cancelled this because of confusion. I would like my 18 bucks back since its within 48 hours. I had already paid 18 bucks before for this domain so i thought it was essentially mine? why did i have to pay for it again? I never got that money back. I just cancelled this so please refund me this 18 dollars. I’ll just figure it out some other way.

Okay, I see that the purchase was never refunded back to you – my apologies.
So you have two choices. I can restore the domain and you won’t have to pay or I can refund the $18 back to you and it will take 7-10 business days for the purchase to reflect on your bank statement.

Let’s just do the refund, will I get the refund for both times? I paid today 18 bucks and the first time I paid 18 bucks. Can I get confirmation of this please via email. Ill just hire a pro at this to do it all.
