  Hi There,

  I currently have a website through 22 slides and my blog through tumblr. I’d like to switch my blog (and possibly my website to wordpress) however, not sure how to do it. I already have my domain from godaddy, gabriellasantos.com and would like to keep that with whatever new bolg site I have. Can someone point me in the right direction of getting the domain switched over?

  Hey Gabriella!

  The feature you’re looking for is called Domain Mapping, and luckily, it’s super easy.

  From your Dashboard, you’ll want to go to the “Domains” option. It’ll show you the one you already have with WordPress, but right above it, it will also say “Add Domain.”

  When you click on that, it’ll give you a short list of other options, and then will ask if you already own a domain, with a button that says “Map it.” Click on that, and then enter in your existing GoDaddy address.

  That’s where GoDaddy comes in – you’ll need to contact them and let them know that you’re switching your address over to WordPress, so they can take care of getting some more details sent over from their end.
