  Hi there, I have purchased a web Domain via One.com and I am looking to use this for my current Blog? I have already paid for it so how can I transfer this? Please help

  @iihub – There is an additional fee payable to WordPress.com for mapping the domain, even if you have purchased the domain name from an external registrar

  You may also consider subscribing for Premium plan which allows you some more features including domain mapping. This is useful if you need something more than just mapping your domain.

  Yes I have had a read of the Premium and I think I will go for this, but when it says £85 Is this a monthly fee? As I find this quite pricey

  The price i see is $8.25 per month, which should work out to Pound 5.65 per month. Pound 67.XX if you pay the whole year fee i think.

  Also, if you wish to just map the domain without other premium features, the fees should be much less.

  I have paid the £85, for premium blog but I thought this would include the domain and it hasn’t? It says I still need to map the domain? I do need to customize my blog so the premium is probably better

  It is still saying that I need to pay a fee for the domain? Yet I have purchased the Premium blog and have a receipt for this. Also where it gives you the options for Premium themes it says you have to still pay for this?

  If you login to wordpress.com/plans and click on the site name. does it confirm that you are subscribed to the Premium plan?

  Yes it does say I am on Premium? I am just not sure how I add my domain to my current blog but without paying another fee?

  Hello iihub,

  You successfully managed to add your domain in the system. However, it is still not pointing at your WordPress.com site. In order to complete the procedure, you need to ask One.com (or you can do it yourself if you can access to the DNS control panel) to update your name servers (in the DNS settings) with the following:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
