    I’ve recently tried to map my domain name to my site but it’s not allowing me to do so without upgrading to premium and charing me £85. I have colleagues who have managed to map their domain for £11, how can I do so?

    Hi there,

    We recently changed how domains work and you need to purchase a plan now if you want to register or map a domain to WordPress.com. This is as of a couple of weeks ago.

    However it’s worth upgrading to Premium because it comes with lots of extra things like no ads (sites with domain-only upgrades will have advertising on them), more space, custom design, and the ability to upload audio and video.
