  Can I get a domain without buying a plan yet?

  If you just want to purchase the domain from WordPress.com and want to use it somewhere else you can register a domain following the instructions below:

  1. Go to the Site Domains page by selecting My Sites → Upgrades → Domains.
  2. click Other domain options and then Add a domain without a site.

  If you want to use that domain on your WordPress.com website then you have to purchase a plan. You can buy any of the paid plans. All the plans have the custom domain feature. To know more about the plans feature and pricing please refer to the link below:

  Note:- If you are purchasing plan for annually or for two years. You will get a free domain credit for one year. This means you will register a domain for free for one year and after one year it will be renewed at normal pricing.

  Premium themes were the feature of the premium plans. But from this month purchasing a single Premium Theme is no longer available.
