    Hello,
    I want to transfer my domain to siteground but it technically can’t be transferred until January 19th . Would it be better to wait or just transfer it now even though I don’t have a hosting plan? or would I need a hosting plan in order for my business email to be connected?

    Looking at your domain, I see that it’s already registered with Siteground: https://gwhois.org/sydniemcdonald.com+dns

    In this case, your domain wouldn’t need to be transferred to another registrar, though it is connected to WordPress.com at the moment.

    Looking at your account, you already have hosting with our Business plan on WordPress.com, so technically you do not need hosting with another provider.

    However, if you already have email with Siteground, you can add it to your site on WordPress.com. If you need a hand setting that up, just let us know.
