    I currently own a domain through Google Domains, and am using google sites. But I am trying to transfer that domain name to my new WordPress site and am confused by all the settings/prices/plans. What is the cheapest way to use my Google Domain with WordPress?

    I have the same question. I only want to add my domain I already own for $13 without a plan. For some reason it won’t let me unless I sign up for a plan?

    Hi folks,

    You’ll need a Personal plan or higher to transfer or connect an existing domain to WordPress.com, and to use it as your primary domain. You can review plan features and pricing here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    To upgrade, please go to Upgrades → Plans. It’s worth noting that a one-year free domain registration is included with an upgrade, which can be applied to domain transfers. This will also extend your domain’s expiry by a year.
