  I have a domain which is registered to Squarespace but I would like to move it to WordPress and I wondered how easy this is to do?

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi!

  The process of moving a domain from Squarespace to WordPress basically involves the following:

  1. Unlocking the domain from your old domain provider (in this case SquareSpace). To read instructions on how to do that, go here.
  2. Obtaining your EPP code.
  3. Starting the transfer from the WordPress.com side.
  4. After a successful transfer to WordPress.com the DNS records need to be updated.

  It might sound complicated, but it’s not really that complicated when you follow this step-by-step guide.

  You’ve got two options to this.

  You can transfer your domain registration to WordPress.com using these instructions:

  https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

  Or you can leave your domain at your current registrar and point it to your WordPress.com site using these instructions:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  To do either, your site will need to have a paid plan:
