  I deleted derekhillenbrand.wordpress.com and wish to reactiviate the domain only, not any of the content. Is there a way to do this? I don’t really want to use derekhillenbrandblog.wordpress.com… thank you!

  Since you deleted it, the address cannot be reused. However if you’ll be using a domain (like example.com), your readers won’t really be able to see the *.wordpress.com address anyway.

  If you want to add a domain to an existing site, you can do this at:
  https://wordpress.com/domains/

  Otherwise, you can pick one at signup:
  https://wordpress.com/start/
