  Hello,

  I purchased a domain name and then deleted it. When will it become available again?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  It looks like you’ve canceled the domain name, meaning you no longer own it.

  Canceled domains can take anywhere from days to months to be returned to the public market.

  The good news is, since you did not receive a refund, and since the domain was in the grace period still, I have recovered maiknots.ca

  Due to regulations by the organization which oversees all domain registrars (ICANN), the domain cannot be transferred until 60 days after registration.

  However, you can still direct the domain name anywhere now by changing its name servers: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/

  And, when it’s time, if you want to, you can transfer the domain to another registrar: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
