  I used to create a domain that I used, but then I deleted it because I didn’t do it anymore and now I want to register it again, but it shows me that it’s occupied, can it be solved?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all.

  Are you speaking of adsforfun.com which you cancelled on 28 February?

  I’m afraid it’s no longer possible for us to restore that domain, as it was cancelled too long ago, but at the moment that domain isn’t available yet.

  In a few more days that domain will be deleted by the registry, and then it should be released so anyone can register it again. At that point you should be able to buy it again as a new domain, but it will be available for anyone else to buy as well, so I recommend you check every day so you can get it before someone else buys it.
