Domain

I’m trying to pay the fees to renew my domain name, but when I click on the ‘pay’ button, a red flag indicates me that it is impossible because that domain name is already taken. I’ve had this domain name for years. I just don’t get it.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    We need details please.

    1. What is the domain URL?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
    4. When was the upgrade purchased?

  • Hi there,

It looks like there was a chargeback made on your account, but I see you’ve since been able to remove that and pay for your domain.

In this case it looks like the dispute was settled before you could reverse it, so your original payment is being refunded by your bank. Because of this we cannot waive the chargeback fee.

Let me know if you have any questions.

It’s okay about the chargeback fee.
However, I made a payment for “mapping” the domain of 17.00$ because I thought that’s what I needed to do, since after I payed the chargeback the site wasn’t back on, and it said that the domain wasn’t “mapped”.

Would it be possible to get a refund on that?

    Thank you

  • I see you’re in contact with our payments team as well via email. Can I ask you to please wait for a reply from them? It’s best if we can keep all communication in one place in this case.

You should receive a reply from them about this soon.
