  Hi I already own a custom domain bought from squarespace. Do I have to get a wordpress website hosting provider? And if i already own my custom domain, why does it have wordpress.com extension in the name? Thanks!

  Hi There. You still need to set up domain mapping on your domain. Here is a link on how to do that.
