Domain

I want to upgrade so that I can own the domain or site name, but given some confusion I experienced when signing up, I am nervous about committing. The reason for this is that the name of my site for my free version is not what I chose. I worry that something similar will happen even when I provide my financial information. I do not want ‘com’ or ‘blog’ in the site name. I would like lunchbox-notes.com, which I understand is an upgrade and was available last night. If I am stuck with the current site name, I need to delete this free account and start over. Basically, I do not want to pay and still end up with ‘com’ or ‘blog’ in the site name.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
The reason why you see the dotcom on your blog URL is because you entered lunchboxnotes.com into the domain field when you were creating the address. Leave the .com out of the field and enter lunchboxnotes – you should get your desired results: lunchboxnotes.wordpress.com to go along side your custom domain, lunchboxnotes.com.
Let me know if you have any other questions or issues.
Thanks! -
Thanks,
That makes sense, but how do I change it? Do I need to start over? Is there a way to delete this one? -
