  Hi,

  We have canceled subscription plan for our domain.

  We want to transfer canceled domain to a new registrant but we cant becaue we get the information that domain is still taken.

  We have contacted Wild West Domains but they said that we need to handle that with WordPress.

  Please help us with domain transfer.

  Hey there,

  If you’re wanting to transfer your domain, you should never cancel it at your current host because once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it. Also, it usually takes a few weeks for your domain registration to clear and become available once you cancel it. There isn’t an exact time, however, so you’ll be checking consistently to see when it becomes available.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore the domain back to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back.

  Hi there,

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore vat-croatia.com to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.
