  I bought my domain fabriziobrusca.com on wordpress, i also got the invoice after that. When I tried to use my domain on Bluehost they told me (and also WordPress did) that my domain results bought on GMO, inc. I’m very confused! Please make some light on it. I’m struggling since Dec 27th. Thanks

  Hi,

  I’ve double checked and fabriziobrusca.com was not registered with WordPress.com.

  I can see you recently cancelled the Domain Mapping upgrade on your account. In order to use a domain registered with another registrar, on your WordPress.com site, you would need a Domain Mapping upgrade — so that is probably what the receipt is for.

  Does it mean that I can still recover my old domain fabriziobrusca.com if I give the invoice to wordpress? Or by doing something similar?

  Do you no longer own the domain, fabriziobrusca.com?

  If the domain expired, you will need to contact the domain registrar (who you originally registered the domain with) about recovering it. As you didn’t purchase the domain through WordPress.com, we aren’t able to help you recover it.

  If you own the domain and wish to use it here on WordPress.com, instead of your default WordPress.com address (fabrusca77.wordpress.com), you can map the domain:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
