  Hi there! I originally purchased delateurmusic.com through WordPress but now I use SquareSpace. The domain has expired. Is there a way for me to disconnect from WordPress and purchase through SquareSpace?

  Howdy –

  You can buy the domain through SquareSpace once it is released. This takes some time, upwards of 80 days. Also, there is no guarantee that you will be the first to purchase the domain.

  WordPress.com does not receive any notification of when the domain will be released. This is a bit risky as you may wind up with out the domain if someone else gets to it first.
