    How can I start setting up a website to see if I even like using WordPress? I am not ready yet to use my existing domain. And if I should use a different free domain name, will I be able to change it to my own domain later if I want to stay with WordPress?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Your existing domain can be connected to WordPress.com at any point in time (requires one of the WordPress.com plans).
