  Hi,
  I enrolled wordpress Today for the first time and before updating my account to either Personal or Professional premium account I want to chec with you guys why I got chriscapeme.wordpress.com as a domain when I particularly asked for chriscape1980.com??

  Let’s sort this out before I get to the next level and start with WordPress. Thanks.

  Aloha chriscape1980, Custom domains are only available with a paid plan. The free version will have “.wordpress.com” in the name, such as chriscapeme.wordpress.com. Any of the upgraded plans include a domain without the “.wordpress.com” part. This would let you use chriscape1980.com.

  I know but do not know why they decide chriscapeme.wordpress.com instead of chriscape1980.wordpress.com as shown…
