  My .com domain with wordpress has expired some time ago. I am trying to reopen the domain but it appears to be in limbo. How do I get it back?

  Thanks for confirming. That domain was last renewed from your WordPress.com account a few years but you requested for it to be cancelled. It was then released into the pool of available domains and purchased by someone else. As the domain is no longer registered with us, I’m afraid we are unable to recover it for you.
