  I am trying to move my domain from wordpress.com and there is no ‘transfer domain’ available. If I delete the site, will the domain then be available to use on another site? I thought I needed an EPP code. I am knowinghope.org Thanks

  Domains belong to the username account that registered them.

  knowinghopeinc – I’ll be happy to help sort this out. In order to transfer your domain knowinghope.org to another provider it needs to remain active on your WordPress.com account. I’ve restored the domain to your account so it does not fall in to redemption, or worse, get sold to someone else.

  Follow these instructions to transfer your domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/

  Alternatively, you can leave the domain here at WordPress.com and edit the DNS record to point it to a new site. If you’re interested in this option I can give you more details.
