  I want to have a .blog domain without buying a premium plan. How can I do that

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Domain mapping can only be added as part of a plan. See the first section of this page:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  If you don’t want the Premium plan, you can upgrade to the cheaper Personal Plan, but you need to purchase the plan upgrade first. And then add your custom domain.

  Go to My Site ->Plans and add the Personal Plan. After purchasing the plan, then go to My Site ->Domains to claim the free domain in the plan and add the domain mapping.

  You will need a plan upgrade to register a .blog domain. The plans and features are compared at wordpress.com/pricing/ and you can add it to your account from that page.
