  I need to regain my previous domain name: dalbertonyebuchi.wordpress.com
  am still the owner.

  You do not “own” any site you deleted.

  https://dalbertonyebuchi.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.

  Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
