    Hi! I bought and cancelled my plan and domain on the same day. How long does it usually take for the domain name to become available again?

    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there!
    After cancelling a domain it goes into holding for usually about 5-7 days. You can wait to so that, when the domain is released you can re-purchase the domain before anyone re-purchase it.

    You can send invoice using WordPress.com for the domain. So it will redirect to your free site once it domain name is released.
